2013 Bourgogne Blanc
The Chavy family have been producing wine in Puligny-Montrachet for many years. This domaine was formed in 2003 when Gerard, the family patriarch divided the etate’s vineyards between his two sons Jean-Louis & Alain. Jean Louis’ wines are of the highest quality and very pure in style.
The 2013 Bourgogne Blanc from Chavy is beautiful. Citrus fruits meld together on the palate with accents of spice and stone. The finish has both precision and length that are rare for a Bourgogne-level white. At $29.99 per bottle or $25 by the case, this offers top-level village drinking at a very attractive price. Now through 2019 is the ideal drinking window for this wine.
