Anthony is known in Atlanta wine circles as the man "who gets the good stuff & sells it at a fair price." His lifelong penchant for hard work and forging relationships are a big part of his success. As he puts it, "Most anyone can know about wine. Knowing wine and its connection to people, the earth, culture and history inspires me to share my experience with clientele who appreciate that approach."
His over 10 years in the restaurant & wine business have led him to pH where he partnered with Patrick Shippey in 2010 to create the wine shop he always wanted to visit: A place where a friendly, helpful staff listens to clients first and then guides them to product based on personal preference vs. trends or marketed status.
A rare native Atlantan, the people, places and trees have kept Anthony home to follow his passion. He gives back through service to CHOA and Shepherd Center.
When not in the shop or leading a pH wine event, you'll find him with his family or occasionally on the golf course.
Anthony lives in Peachtree Hills with his wife & son.
Patrick has a passion for the vine that was sparked by great wine shared over family meals with his father-in-law. The desire to turn that passion into a business and an encounter with Anthony Yambor at a Brookhaven wine shop led to the creation of pH Wine Merchant.
His 15 years of real estate experience serve Patrick well as he works with Anthony to identify great wine values and deals. He now feels the same thrill of success in offering spectacular vintages at reasonable prices to pH clients.
Nothing, however, makes him happier than time spent with his family. Also an Atlanta native, Patrick has never had a desire to leave the city where he's followed his dreams.
He supports CHOA and the Ronald McDonald House of Atlanta.
Patrick lives in Brookhaven with his wife and 2 children.
It takes a special wine talent to impress Anthony Yambor. Frances Stone has done just that and has been rewarded with a spot on the pH staff. Being great with people and having a wine IQ beyond her years have set Frances up as someone pH clients new to wine have made a connection with. She's run with both the tutelage and opportunity to build new relationships.
Stone is now a Certified Specialist of Wine. She was on the dean's list at UGA for 4 years and graduated Cum Laude.
As she settles into Atlanta and her role at pH, Frances looks forward to volunteering her time to Habitat for Humanity.
